Western Sky Projects is established as a not-for-profit production company dedicated to creating unique musical theatre experiences for artists and audiences in Western Australia.

Musical theatre is a popular art form! However, there often isn’t space in WA for professional artists to work on high quality repertoire or tell new stories. That’s where we come in.

We love supporting new Australian works and local talent, and staging lesser known works. Whether it’s helping a story find its feet in a workshop or bringing it to the stage, we’re here for the journey.

We will always be a not for profit.

To do more projects we need your support. We receive occasional project funding from the state government, have some wonderful project sponsors, and sometimes our artists subsidise the projects by working for lower rates than they should. They do it because the shows we choose and the teams we bring together create rare career experiences.
